Magic party at Racks

Everyone loves a great party at Racks and knows that it usually comes with some food, drinks, maybe a little dancing and some great company but how can you wow your guests and give them something a little different?

It’s time to add some magic sparkle to your party – any kind of party that is – by hiring a magician to wow everyone on the night.

Introducing Adam Richards from Adam Richards Magic who kindly offered to give us a closer insight into what a magician can add to your event, be that a wedding party, birthday party, Christmas party at Racks or large corporate event.

‘I’ve been a magician for three years but I have worked as a performer all over the world for companies including Disney Cruise Lines. Most of my magic is close up; walking around interacting with guests seamlessly and with genuine energy. I have recently started doing more stage work and so, as the tricks are getting bigger and bolder, my audiences are growing.’

Add a magician to your party at Racks

Adam has been very busy performing at weddings this summer as magic has really taken off as a popular form of entertainment. Now that the Christmas season has kicked off Adam tells us that he’s receiving lots of bookings for corporate parties. Here at Racks we’ve also had magicians booked to entertain groups of stags or hens, birthdays, naming ceremonies and sports club social events.

‘I believe my range of magic and ability to captivate any age range makes me suitable for any party’

In our experience it’s everyone. You’re never too young* or too old to enjoy a little magic but it’s all about selecting the right kind for your crowd.

‘I’ve been told that my unique, genuine energy is a huge positive trait of mine. Magic, whether close up or on the stage should be captivating, entertaining and loads of fun. I use my experience as a performer to entertain any age range; from sponge ball magic for the very little ones, funky ‘street’ magic for awkward teenagers and high level tricks coupled with laughter and banter for the adults.’

How do you know if a magician is ‘good enough’…? See them first or go by word of mouth. If your friends loved a magician then there’s a good chance that you will too. Many magicians, like Adam, have videos on their website or YouTube channel and sometimes they have regular work in a venue where you can check them out first.

‘I have videos and pictures on my website and social media. I also perform regular slots at Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park where as well as The Adam Allsortz Show* I also walk around the park performing close up magic suitable for any event.’

Magicians are a firm favourite here at Racks and our New Year’s Eve party is set to entertain with some humourous close-up magic. If you’re interested in the best New Year’s Eve party in Bristol that then you can read about it here.
